Playing in the fountain at the mission in SLO...

Morro Bay and SLO
We took a little day trip with our friends, Katie, Cory, and Jennifer over to the coast during spring break...it was a BEAUTIFUL day and we got to hang out in these two gorgeous places together and the best part--they aren't too far away! we got there in about two hours, not bad!

Climbing on some hay stacks...

Hay ride through the Orange Grove...

Checking out their eggs from the hunt...

Our first "bouncehouse" experience...it took them awhile to get the hang of it and Sophie even had to come out for a second to gather herself! But in the end, they loved it!

Happy Easter from the Easter bunny in Visalia!
We went to an Easter festival up the road near Visalia at this farm that we had heard about from our neighbors...it was very fun, filled with an Easter Egg hunt (where Sophie got the golden egg!) hay rides, pony rides and an Orange tree Maze!

Easter Bunnies!!!

Easter Bunnies!!!

the LOVE being with their Pop-pop...

In the garden with Pop-pop...
My parents were SHOCKED at the terrible state of our backyard, so my dad got right to work on some serious weeds and in the end, we created a flower bed! Sophie and Lucy LOVED being in the garden, working alongside Pop-pop...

Look at our fancy PJs!!!!
My parents came to visit in March and the weather turned very warm, so we had to break out some cool weatehr PJs...Sophie and Lucy call them their "Cinderella jammies"! I think they look like Lucille Ball!!!

All the guys...

After the long bus ride, and a few of Erik's margaritas...

Before the long bus ride up to Fresno...

All the fixin's for Erik's famous margaritas...

Fist of the Fleet Dining Out...Fresno '09

SURPRISE! I turned 30!!!
SOrry I am so behind in posting pics!!! Finally found these pics from my friend Jennifer...
Erik threw me a little surprise party and vowed never to do it again!

Sunglasses were definitely needed, and not because it was so sunny--there was so much SNOW falling!

Making a snowman...

Hanging out in our snowpants, that were a few sizes too big!

Haning out with our friend Madison!!!

Having our bedtime story...

Sophie and her white dot of Neosporin...

Lucy brushing her teeth in the mirror...

Getting ready for bed
(that is Neosporin on Sophie's forehead from her bad fall at the farm over thanksgiving...)

Oops--missed this one...Sophie chowing down on her apple!

Cheesin' it up for the camera...

We love cookies...well, actually the icing!

Yummy apples!

Getting ready to do some cookie decorating!

Our REALLY big Christmas tree!!!
We decided to go Clarke Griswald style and get a GIGANTIC tree this year...it was SO tall, it was ridicuous...but it ended up looking really nice, even though I was scared to death that it would fall over at any moment! A lot of coordination went in to getting this damn tree up and it was tied down in a few places! Crazy...

Cinderella's Castle--all lit up and decorated for the Holidays...

Another amazing moment...meeting Buzz Lightyear!

The best moment of their young lives!!!
S and L got to meet the princesses while we were in Disney...they met Cinderella, Belle, and Sleeping Beauty and it was just adorable to watch! They were awestruck! They couldn't say a word...they just stared at them and wouldn't crack a smile!

Making many, many wishes at Cinderella's fountain!

This is one of many pics that we took of S and L in front of the famous statue...I apologize in advance if they all look the same to you, but I just had t post them! It was one of those rare moments where they were being so cute and nice to each other! Although, we did get a few stares from people after they started kissing!!! So adorable!!

Back to the magic Kingdom...I think they are catching the end of one of the many parades that go on in Disney World...Sophie is waving to Cinderella, or as they call her "Cin-ella"

Disney-Day Two...
On our second day, we decided to try out Animal Kingdom, which no one in our group had ever been to...it was really fun and pretty incredible what they have there, but definitely something to try when S and L are a little older...the best ride though, was the African safari...wow! We got to see a whole bunch of animals on one ride, up close and personal! Crazy!
