Good-Bye Grandpop...

This was my Dad's last morning with the girls...his flight was at the crack of dawn which didn't matter to these ladies, they were up and adam ready to eat!!

The twins first trip out...to VISALIA!
They were only a little over a week old and we took them to their first pub...Brewbakers Brewery...It was my Dad's last night here so we decided to celebrate...besides worrying about the AC in the restaurant, we had a good time...

They already have unique personalities...Lucy likes to wriggle her way out of the swaddle while Sophie stays all wrapped up! Does that say anything about who they will be???

Our first picture day!
We dressed the girls up in the only clothes that fit them other than onesies...thank you Katie! They look like dresses on them and they are actually shirts! But they looked so damn cute I couldn't stop taking pictures of them!!!

Happy 4 Week Birthday Lucia and Sophia!!
I still can't believe that just four weeks ago these lovely ladies entered our lives! I know everyone says this but I never thought I could love two people as much as I love these babies! Even at 4 o'clock in the morning when I wanna keep on sleeping, I just have to look at their little faces and see that it is all worth it!

This was one of those desparate days when they would NOT fall asleep unless i was holding them, so my mom handed both over to me and I was holding them in the bed...Lucia fell right asleep but Sophia I guess thought Lucia's shoulder was the bottle! She immediately started sucking on her shoulder, and Lucia was totally unfazed in her sleeping! How Cute!

Our first bath and manicure! Sept. 3rd and 4th, 2006
Sophia and Lucia were so good for their first bath! They actually loved the water and didn't scream like we all thought they would...Maybe it was all those days at the swimming pool on base that did it! They were also really good for their first manicure...it was pretty difficult to file those tiny nails, but I got it done....
They love baths so much, we give them one every other night! It also helps with getting them off to sleep faster!

Our first walk! September 3, 2006...

They have been on many walks since then, but let me tell you, that stroller is next to impossible to drive! I think there may be a driver's test to drive it!!!

Tummy time!!!

Here are Sophia and Lucia doing their daily exercise of laying on their tummies! Somehow they always end up falling asleep while we watch them!!!

We have started to amass TONS of Lucia and Sophia pictures so I am just going to post them...this is Sophia with the little mittens on...those didn't stay on for long!!

We came home from the hospital to a house FULL of flowers sent by friends and family...The house was beautiful for the girls to come home to...We wanted to send out a big THANK YOU to everyone who sent their congratulations for the birth of Lucia and Sophia...
