Fresh from the bath...
One last night of the girls helping me out...I'm going to miss them!!! Janelle, Michelle, and Courtney were a tremendous help during this deployment! Now they are all gonna have some babies so I can go help them out!! I hope!
This is Lucy and Courtney...

Trying some biter biscuits for the first time!!! And they LOVE them!

Homecoming preparation....
Lucia, Sophia, and I teamed up with Janelle and Michelle this past Saturday to hang banners on the base for 25's homecoming....it was a MISERABLE day--windy, cold...but we proudly hung our banners wherever we could find a good spot!!! Come to find out a few days later when I drove onto the base that they had blown away in the gale-force winds we had this past week! All of our hard work!!! BUT, we had fun doing it!!

Having fun with Sophie! She discovered the fun of the laundry basket!

All curled up and having her afternoon snooze....

Morning Smiles and laughter!!! Look how good they are getting at sitting up!

Easter flowers from Erik to his girls at home!

(I am trying to do some catching up here on pics! Its been a busy couple of days cause...ERIK IS HOME!!!)

All dressed up and ready for church...My mom sent them their "furst" Easter dresses that my dad called "Petunia Pig" dresses! They looked so cute on Sunday, everybody at the Mexican church we went to was oohhing and awwing over them in espanol! They lady sitting next to me couldn't stop whispering during mass, "Que linda, que precisosas!" (hilarious!)

A little background on why we went to a Mexican church...My neighbor, Jennifer, took me last Sunday to this little church in a little town nearby called Stratford...I think I wrote about it last week...anyways, its way out in the middle of all the cotton/corn/tomato/etc. fields and its basically where all the farm workers live and its totally like crossing the border into Mexico...its a darling little church, all the people pretty much walk to it since the town is so small and they do the service in Spanish and a little ENglish...we went there cause its actually not that far from our house and we figured the church in Lemoore would be PACKED...its definitely a cultural experience...the music is almost like mariachi-band type musica and the people are wonderful! Some real characters in that church!! Cowboy hats, snakeskin cowboy boots, oh yea, and the ostrich-skin boots too! Slick back hair into low ponytails...and those are the men I am talking about! The ladies have HIGH heels on and lots of gold necklaces! It makes church quite an experience!

Happy Easter!!
Here is Sophie and Lucy's "furst" Easter basket

Dying Eggs...
Saturday night, Janelle came over to dye eggs with us...Sohpie and Lucy did a lot of watching...Lucy did try to splash around in the PAAS egg dye + vinegar...but we had fun...Janelle and I discovered the crayons and started to make some "pretty" desings on the eggs...All I will say is Martha Stewart we are not! But we had lots of fun anyways!!

I tired to take a picture of the WHOLE outift for all to see, but they don't stand up yet! (geez!!) so i laid them on the floor to take the picture...DOn't you love the jean skirts??

My friend from Penn State, Autumn, sent the babies these adorable outifts that I found out they fit in on Saturday! Oma (Elfi) sent them their first flip flops for Easter so I put those on too...Lucy was so facinated with the flip flops, she kept reaching down to touch them...she eventually pulled them off and put them in her mough, where everything seems to end up these days!!

Babies in diapers!!!!
We were practicing sitting up on my bed the other day and Lucy and Sophie were doing so good, I grabbed the camera to capture the occasion! Aren't they hilarious???

Enjoying the beautiful Spring day...in their FIRST bathing suits!!!
After church, we went out to buy some more plants for my "garden" and while I did some "gardening" the girls donned their first bathing suits (from Grandmommy Stella) and their sunhats to play and watch...they just looked too cute!! My mom bought them these suits way back in February and I thought they would never fit, but these girls grow more each day, they now fit perfect!! Now, we need a baby pool!!

All dressed up and ready for church!
I snapped this picture the past Sunday as we got ready for church...Lucy was trying out her new "Bumpo" chair and reading her book from Auntie Lizzie...I was a sucker and bought these chairs cause EVERYBODY told me they were "great and I HAD to get them"...i thought it was just a ploy to buy yet some other new fangled baby thing, but honestly, they have been GREAT...AND, as an added bonus, they teach them how to sit up...

Hanging out in the bed with Mommy...
These were taken shortly after the girlies woke up one morning...they just looked so cute, cuddling together I HAD to take their pictures!

Applesauce!
Last week Sophie and Lucy tried some applesauce and slurped it up with gusto! This week we already tried some peaches...Sophia LOVED them...Lucia was a little hesitant at first but liked them in the end!
A teething update--two little bottom teeth are poking through! Looks like the ones on top may be coming in also! Wow--they are growing up so fast!!!
