San Fran trip...

When Erik returned from Nevada after four weeks,we decided to head over to San Fran to visit some friends and brother Joe, but also to hit up IKEA!!

The girls were in desparate need of some kid-sized furniture for their "playroom" and there is no better place to find that good stuff then Ikea...The closest one is in Palo Alto, so we planned our trip around being able to shop there!! It turned out to be a gorgeous weekend in the city! Warm and sunny and perfect for doing a little sight seeing! On Sat. we drove over the Golden Gate bridge and found this little scenic trail you could hike up a small hill that provided stunning views of the bridge and the city and the background...they girls LOVED it!!

New booster seats!!!

Its official, the girls have graduated from their high chairs into new BOOSTER seats!! We first got them for the party at Janelle's house (there is Jack in the background of Sophie's pic--in which she really reminds me of Laurel, don't you think???) They love them! Its a whole new world now that they sit at the table with us...they have their own forks and spoons and can sort of feed themselves--but don't try to help, they don't want any!!! Only when you are feeding them something good and sweet!!!

My Birthday (a little late...)

Wow, so much has happened since my last post which sadly, was a whole MONTH ago!!!! Sorry, sorry, sorry!!! I had knee surgery on Feb. 14th and my parents are out here helping me recover and take care of the girls--thank goodness!!! I am now able to sit d sort of bend my knee, so I thought I would post some pics!!!

These are from my birthday dinner at Janelle's...Corinne was visiting for the occasion and Erik was away in Nevada, so it was a total girl celebration!!! It was a lot of fun!!
