Easter Eve!
I picked my parents up from the Fresno airport on Saturday. We made a quick stop at Whole Foods to buy all the fixings for our Easter dinner and then headed to Lemoore. As we drove Highway 41 south, my parents were amazed at the amount of farming and agriculture that goes on around here! They loved the house and the kitty! After a short rest, we made some dinner and then got ready to dye some easter eggs. I saw the PAAS in the store earlier this week and I couldn't resist buying the box and dying some eggs! Joe and Shelley arrived just in time on Saturday night to help me dye the eggs. We left them in for a long time so they would be nice and dark colors! I could have never done that as a kid. I remember I always wanted to just take them out and start on a new one. My dad tried to make some multi-color ones, but they didn't come out. Of course, we HAD to put the stickers on! I was upset because this box of PAAS did not have the little scene with all the characters that you could punch out and set up for the easter bunny to see....oh well...
