Ok, looks like the top of the apartment building outside the "cardroom"...maybe there was a party? I recognize Grandpop, my mom, maybe the little boy is Philip but who is the older guy??I couldn't seem to place him....

That's Mike, all right. We were going through the whole apartment house that day, before we moved in there. A woman had committed suicide by jumping off the balcony of 1111, did you all know that? It was before we moved in that year. 1121 was a very odd place when we first got there--I don't think any of the residents had ever lived in a place with an elevator, since no one (no one!) spoke. The manager was always crabbing at me for coming thru the lobby with bare feet, and I found the bathroom on the laundry room level to be a great pit stop after hitting the bars. My senior year in high school...
