Christening Day!

Here are the little darlings just before we drove over to the church for their baptisms...The scene at our house getting them ready as well as the rest of us, was hilarious! At our house that early afternoon was Erik and I, Andres, Kasia and Joe...and they were all recruited to help get these ladies dressed and beautiful! Kasia helped me dress them while Andres got their shoes on (which was a more difficult job than it sounded!) they kept kicking their shoes off!!! Meanwhile, Joe was equipped with a wet washcloth and the brush and ordered to get their hair parted and pushed DOWN!! DUring all of this chaos, we were also trying to get ourselves dressed and to keep the ladies calm! What a scene it was! At one point we had everyone dressed and sitting in the Bumpo seats, as to not wrinkle their pretty dresses, when Sophia just bluuuuuhhh, and spit up all down the front of her dress! Andres gave a yell while Kasia and I scrambled to find something to clean it up with...they were not wearing any bibs at this point which is why you see them in these ugly bibs in this picture! Thank goodness for baby wipes! They get anything out and they came through on this day! There was not a mark after we cleaned poor Sophie's dress up! Phew!
