Hornet Ball....

Its been awhile since I posted some pics and we have been busy people!!

Two weekends ago was the Hornet Ball, which is like Prom for navy pilots! Complete with ball gowns, up-do's, and people drinking out of flasks!! It was a good time...got to get all "doodied up" AND we had a much needed "night off"! My sainted brother Joe came over from San Fran for the weekend to be our babysitter...what a brave soul he was...I am not sure he knew what he was getting into when he said yes back in August--watching two one-year-olds for a whole night! Yup, we spent the night at the hotel also, so I was a BIG night for Joey and the girls! And, after being so nervous for Joe, the girls were not so bad to him and our neighbor and friend, Jennifer came over to help out with bathtime/bedtime! So, all in all, it was a good night and I am pretty sure Joe will come back to visit again! He even said he would babysit again too!

Stupidly, we forgot our camera and I could kick myself for it, cause there was A LOT to take pics of...It reminded me almost of Homecoming at WMHS! Each squadron had their own suite to decorate with a theme and after dinner everyone just hopped around to each little party...there was a 70's/disco room, a Japanese room, Margaritaville...and a lot of the rooms had ice luges???So, yea, it was really college/frat house-ish!! But a good time! Oh yea, I got my hair did and cut sort of short!! Iwish I had a pic of my shoes...they were borrowed and probably the highest heel I have ever worn!! But super-cute!!
